During my recent New Year stay at the Downing Hostel, I was genuinely impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere that made the experience feel like a home away from home. We particularly enjoyed the daily events, including a delightful BBQ night, where I savored a mouthwatering grilled seasoned steak on sourdough-an absolute treat after a long day exploring the city. The friendly staff made it effortless to arrange activities, ensuring our days were filled with adventure. Plus, the complimentary laundry facilities were a significant perk, especially for those of us traveling for an extended period. All in all, the Downing Hostel is a perfect choice for travelers who appreciate comfort, convenience, and the opportunity to meet fellow adventurers, creating an unforgettable experience.
